In one of the years of my childhood, I was surprised by Santa, he put a beautiful Mickey Mouse watch in my wrist on the the eve of Christmas Day. And when I woke up, there I say Mickey telling me its time to know Santa.

But I saw Santa in those elegant, snowy Christmas Cards that were sent to us from our relatives in the US. So Santa is so granny, old, with white beard, super rosy cheeks, big smile, a red robe and a black belt. Well, lets add the twelve reindeer with the sleigh.

Ok so much for the introduction about Santa. So whether Santa, exists or not. Here is something from me for him.

Dear Santa,

Eversince I held an SLR Camera, I could not help but imagine myself picturing the beautiful landscapes of the earth, the moments that we always wanted to remember, the time when we smile, pose and react in front of a new thing, place and event, and the people that we meet along the way.

And on that day, I decided to capture them all in a box type device.

Ok. Santa I am using all the adjectives and adverbs I know.

But I really want to justify why I want such. And to compress it in just one sentence, its to capture beauty everywhere.

I have my first DSLR 3 years ago, its been with me through good or bad shots. We even share triumphs whenever our shots got published in local newspaper or mag. And I am so happy with it. Actually, I partnered my cam with a long lens and wide angle convertable lens. And now, my DSLR is slowly taking its toll in being overused. I see rust near the shutter button. Dust in the lens.

But I will ask you is something of the impossible. No, I don’t a replace of camera. What I want…. uhhhhhmmm what I need is to make me a good photographer. To have my own art and interpretation of the things that I capture. I just want to capture beauty and may the people who see it, see beauty also.

No, I don’t want to enroll in any photography school, I just want to do my thing. And thats all.

Oh Santa, I hope you could help me.

Merry Christmas!

Thank you very much!
