Last last year I bought myself a new phone. It is not actually a new phone but a second hand phone. Its an HTC 8525 with QWERTY keypad, 2MP camera, video, WIFI, micro SD slot and other basic features of a mobile phone. I bought it for 4k from a colleague, I could say that it was my best buy because there are some battery problems, actually the battery was already replaced by owner, and it was a class A battery, an imitation of the original. The good thing is, the phone is still working despite of the accidental falls and everyday charging.

Last year, I bought myself a second hand netbook. It was bought in Japan by another colleague. I only changed its built in WinXP to English and have a pirated (ooooopps) MS Office installed (sorry Bill, but the original was too costly that I couldn’t afford).

This year, I am planning to buy a super brand new phone, my preferred was the Samsung Galaxy Y. Actually I didn’t have enough budget to buy now. I still need to raised the money (awwwws as if its too expensive, but with my current financial status, well, its a little expensive and way to much of my expenditures). The thing is, most of my colleagues advised my to buy it, since according to them, Mobile phone is now a Necessity. But I realized what else can I do with the Galaxy Y phone? Install apps. Then?

The second hand phone that I bought 2 years ago was still working and the only problem is the battery. And I only used this phone to text friends and family. But the frequency of usage is not that much. Actually, there are days that my phone is idle, stand by mode and there were days that I don’t actually load or consume my load.  My mother told me that since that the battery is the only problem then buy a new battery. And another thing, I can no longer use its WIFI but I deactivated my FB account.

I am really having second thoughts of buying a new phone.

Oh well, good thing that the moon doesn’t have second thought of showing its full-ness this year. Glad to see the moon again.
